If you were to kill me …

Alaihis-salam,
if a day you were to kill me, I would be the martyr not you,
because I would have been killed for what I am and for the values engraved in my soul: Love, forgiveness, tolerance and freedom.

Alaihis-salam,
if a day you were to kill me, I would be the warrior not you,
because I would have spent my entire life protecting those values, with a strong mind, which could never get brainwashed, and a strong soul, which did not need to be armed by anyone to get self-confident.

Alaihis-salam,
on the day you will kill me, I will have fulfilled each single life breath of my time,
as precious as a gift of God, as unique as the wonder of the Universe, as eternal as a moment of pure love.
On the day you will kill me, I will have loved, smiled, sang, cried, travelled, wondered, studied, read, enjoyed each single breath of my life.
On the day you will kill me, you will have lost the last possible chance to give your life a reason, to give God the reassurance that your life was not completely in vane.

Beyond the thousand useless words which journalists, politicians and “experts” of all sides will profuse to symbolise the grief, the flowers and drawings of passer by, the tears and anger of beloved ones, on that day…
….Alaihis-salam, I will be the one who wins and you will remain for ever the only lonely looser.
