Science Slam@Mainz
I am going to be “Featured Scientist” at the next Science Slam in Mainz on December 16
Science Slams are events at which scientists present their scientific research in form of a mini-talk of 10 minutes, in front of a non-expert audience. Â The presentation is then judged by the audience.
The focus of such events lies therefore in communicating science in a entertaining way.
This particular Science Slam is ONLY for female researchers. Indeed as always in science and connected business the number of women participating is rather depressing. Maybe after this event the number of female “slammers” will increase.
I really hope not to be the only physicist on stage…
Luckily I am “out-of-competition” and therefore I can really dare with my presentation this time … 😉
