International Winter Meeting Bormio
The 54th International Winter Meeting on Nuclear Physics (#Bormio54), will take place January 25-29, 2016 in Bormio, Italy.
This is a long-standing conference, bringing together every year researchers and students from various fields of subatomic physics. Unlike many workshops, the International Winter Meetings in Bormio do not focus on a single topic.
Addressed topics include:
Nuclear Structure and nuclear astrophysics
Heavy Ion Physics
Hadron Physics
Particle Physics
Applied nuclear physics
Detectors and future projects
Along with the tradition review talks by more senior speakers in the morning session will be followed by short contribution or poster presentation by junior researcher in the afternoon.
To improve the participation of students and young researchers at the conference a pre-conference school is taking place on Sunday 24 January 2016: four topical lectures will be held covering the basic of the main physics topics dealt within the conference.
